Aakha Masoor UsalIngredients• Brown Lentils (sabut Masoor) 1 cup (wash it twice & soak it for 2 hours)• Oil 2 Tbsp• Onion 1 medium chopped• Garlic cloves 5-6• Garlic 1” inch• Coriander leaves handful• Turmeric powder ½ tsp.• Garam masala powder ½ tsp.• Cumin seeds ½ tsp.• Salt to taste. Method:• Rinse masoor twice with water and soak it for at least 2 hours.• Now make green masala Paste add ginger, garlic and coriander and make fine paste. Keep aside.• Heat oil in kadai add Cumin seeds once Cumin start to splutters add onion, sauté it till translucent.• Add ground green masala paste cook it for 2 min till oil get out then add turmeric powder, garam masala and salt. Saute it and mix well.• Add soaked masoor and mix well and add little water to cook.• Now make a flame low and keep a lid.
