This easy, spicy and masala filled crispy chicken is definitely going to be a party pleaser!

MASALEDAR CRISPY CHICKEN

Ingredients

300 grams boneless chicken breasts
Salt to taste
½ lemon
½ tbsp ginger-garlic-green chilli paste
¼ cup corn flour
¼ cup gram flour (besan)
1 tsp garam masala powder
¼ tsp turmeric powder
Crushed black peppercorns to taste
½ tsp red chilli powder
½ tsp cumin powder
¼ tsp coriander powder
¼ tsp chaat masala
A pinch dry mango powder (amchur)
Oil for deep frying
Stir fry
1 tbsp oil
1 tbsp finely chopped garlic
1 small green capsicum, cut into ½ inch dices
1 small yellow capsicum, cut into ½ inch dices
1 small red capsicum, cut into ½ inch dices
Salt to taste
A pinch garam masala powder
A pinch of chaat masala
A pinch of red chilli powder
1 tbsp chopped fresh coriander leaves
To serve
Green chutney
Onion rings
Lemon wedges

Method

1. Cut chicken into 1 inch cubes and transfer into a bowl, add salt, squeeze the juice of lemon and add ginger-garlic-green chilli paste, corn flour, gram flour, garam masala powder, turmeric powder, crushed black peppercorns, red chilli powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, chaat masala, and dry mango powder and mix well. Set aside for 10-15 minutes.
2. Heat oil in a kadai, slide in the chicken pieces, deep fry till golden brown and crisp.
3. To make stir fry, heat oil in a non-stick pan, add garlic and sauté till golden brown. Add green capsicum, yellow capsicum, and red capsicum and sauté well.
4. Add salt, garam masala powder, chaat masala, red chilli powder and mix well. Add fried chicken and sauté on high heat.
5. Add coriander leaves, mix and take the pan off the heat. Transfer on to a serving plate and serve hot with green chutney, onion rings and lemon wedges.
