Masala Tea with Hariyali Vada Cracker and Super Green Dal
INGREDIENTS:
Toor dal - 1cup
Urad dal - ½ cup
Fennel seeds - ½ tsp
Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
Hing - ½ tsp
Turmeric powder - ½ tsp
Green chillies - 3 nos.
Chilli flakes - 3 nos.
Garlic - 10 nos.
Ginger - 1 piece
Onion - 3 nos.
Salt - As per taste
Coriander leaves - 1 bunch
Curry leaves - 1 bunch
Amaranth leaves - 2 bunch
Moong dal (boiled) - 1 cup
DIRECTIONS:
Firstly, soak toor dal & urad dal in a bowl and drain out the water. Grind into a coarse paste. Transfer into a bowl.
Then add crushed fennel seeds, cumin seeds, hing, turmeric powder, green chillies, chilli flakes, chopped garlic, ginger, onions, salt, coriander leaves, curry leaves, amaranth leaves mix it well and make like vada shapes.
Heat hot oil in a pan, deep fry the vada till they turn golden brown in colour.
Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, red chillies, cumin seeds, garlic, salt, curry leaves, onions, tomatoes saute it till lightly brown in color.
Now add boiled Moong dal, amaranth leaves, then add boiled dals mix it & cook it for some more time.
Boil tea in a pan, add a little bit of rock salt. Strain it serve the hot tea.
Now ready to serve with Masala Tea with Hariyali Vada Cracker and Super Green Dal.
