Batter fried chicken strips tossed in spicy sauce.MASALA CHICKEN FRENCH FRIESIngredients400 grams boneless chicken, cut into thin stripsSalt to tasteCrushed black peppercorns to taste1 tbsp red chilli paste2 tsps red chilli powder¼ cup corn starch¼ cup rice flour2 tsps lemon juice1 eggs1 tbsp oil + for deep frying8-10 garlic cloves1 medium onion, sliced2-3 green chillies, slit5-6 curry leaves1 tbsp red chilli sauce½ tsp dark soy sauce2 tbsps chopped fresh coriander leaves2 tbsps crushed roasted peanutsMethod1. Take chicken strips in a bowl, add salt, crushed black peppercorns, red chilli paste, red chilli powder, corn starch, rice flour, lemon juice and egg and mix well. Set aside to marinate for 15-20 minutes.2. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai, slide in the chicken strips and deep fry till golden and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.3. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a non-stick pan, add garlic cloves and sauté till golden brown. Add onion, green chillies and curry leaves and sauté till onion turns translucent.4. Add red chilli sauce, dark soy sauce, salt, and crushed black peppercorns and mix well. Sauté for 1-2 minutes.Add fried chicken, coriander leaves and peanuts and sauté for 1-2 minutes.
