Pair with paranthas or chapatis and enjoy a hearty meal!MALAI DO PYAZAIngredients¾ cup fresh malai1 cup onion paste1 medium onion2 tbsps oil1 tsp cumin seeds2 green cardamoms4-5 black peppercorns1-2 cloves1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste¼ tsp turmeric powder½ tsp red chilli powder¼ tsp cumin powder½ tsp coriander powder1 cup tomato puree/pasteSalt to taste½ tsp Tata Sampann Garam Masala1 tbsp chopped fresh coriander leavesMethod1. Heat oil in a non-stick kadai. Add cumin seeds, green cardamoms, black peppercorns and cloves and sauté till fragrant.2. Add onion paste, mix and cook till golden brown.3. Meanwhile, cut the onion into thick roundels and separate the layers. 4. Add ginger-garlic paste in the pan, mix well and cook for 1-2 minutes.5. Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, cumin powder and coriander powder, mix and sauté on low heat for 1 minute. 6. Add salt, mix and cook for 2-3 minutes or till the oil separates. 7. Increase the heat to medium, add the onion roundels and mix well. Add Tata Sampann Garam Masala, mix and cook for 1-2 minutes.8. Reduce the heat to low, add malai and mix well. Cook for a few seconds.9. Add coriander leaves and switch the heat off. Transfer the malai do pyaza into a serving bowl. 10. Garnish with fresh cream and serve hot.
