To print the recipe check the full recipe on my blog: http://www.homecookingadventure.com/recipes/macaroni-and-cheeseIngredientsMakes about 6 servings9 oz (250g) elbow macaroni4 tbsp (56g) butter3 tbsp (24g) all-purpose flour2 cups (480ml) milk1/2 tsp (3g) saltfreshy ground black peppergarlic powder, optional1 1/2 cups (150g) Cheddar cheese, grated1/2 cup (50g) Parmesan cheese, grated1/2 cup (50g) Mozzarella cheese, gratedTopping1 tbsp (14g) butter, melted1/2 cup (30g) panko breadcrumbssalt1. Preheat oven to 375F (190C).2. Cook the pasta in salted water with 1 minute less than package instructions.3. While the pasta cooks, in a medium sauce pan, melt the butter over medium-low heat. Add the flour and stir until smooth and cook for about 1 minute, until bubbling. Gradually stir in milk, until mixture is smooth. Add salt, pepper and garlic powder if used and stir constantly until the sauce boils and begins to thicken. 4. Turn off the heat and stir in cheeses. Add drained pasta into the sauce and stir to coat. 5. In a small bowl combine panko bread crumbs with 1 tbsp of melted butter and spread on top of the macaroni. 6. Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes until browned and bubbly. 7. Serve immediately.
