Long Beans Sabzi Recipe | Beans ki sabji | Alasande Palya | Long Beans Recipe

Dry vegetable dish that goes perfect with dosa, roti or phulka. It can also be served as a side dish with your dal-rice. It is healthy and easy to make.

Popularly known as "Alasande palya" , it is a staple curry in Udupi temples and is supremely nutritious, fiber rich and tasty.

This sabzi recipe is very simple and requires very minimal ingredients. The spices used in this recipe are very basic and found in every Indian household pantry.

Ingredients
* Long beans - 15 nos.
* Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
* Salt - 1 tsp
* Green chillies slit - 2 no.
* Coconut - 1/4 cup
* Coconut oil - 2 tbsp
* Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
* Urad Dal (White lentils) - 1 tsp
* Curry leaves - few
* Hing (Asafetida) - 1/8 tsp (a pinch)
* Water - 1/2 cup
