Hi friends
Lauki (Bottle Gourd) is a very healthy and nutritious in term of health. It's juice helps to control or regulates many heath issues like blood pressure fluctuations, over weight, digestive related and so on.
Lauki is a poor preference of many peoples, So I have prepared this recipe of bottle gourd with chana dal and tell you that taste is awesome. Taste bhi Health bhi.

Ingredients
250gm chopped lauki (bottlegourd)
1 cup chana dal (split and husked bengal gram or split chickpea)
1 big onion, finely chopped
1 big tomato, finely chopped
8-10 garlic cloves, chopped
½ or ¾ teaspoon cumin seeds
¼ teaspoon turmeric powder
¼ teaspoon red chili powder
½ teaspoon garam masala
1 pinch asafoetida (hing)
½ to ¾ cup water for pressure cooking
1.5 to 2 tablespoon oil or ghee
1 to 1.5 tablespoon chopped coriander leaves
salt as required
