LASOON BHURKA

Ingredients

1 cup garlic cloves (lasoon)
¼ cup oil
2 tsps mustard seeds
1 tsp cumin seeds
Salt to taste
½ cup roasted peanut powder
1 tbsp red chilli powder
¼ cup chopped fresh coriander leaves
Bhakris to serve

Method

1. Coarsely crush the garlic in a mortar with a pestle.
2. Heat oil in a kadai. Add mustard seeds and let them splutter. Add cumin seeds and cook till they change colour.
3. Add the crushed garlic and sauté for a minute. Add salt and sauté till the garlic turns golden brown.
4. Add roasted peanut powder and sauté for 1-2 minutes. Add red chilli powder, mix and sauté for a minute.
5. Add coriander leaves and mix well.
6. Serve with bhakris.
