Kozhi Ada(Chicken Hot Pockets) By Gazeena | India Food Network

Kozhi Ada is a traditional Malabari snack. Typically Ada is a stuffed dish which can be either fried or steamed.
Gazeena shares with us her version of Kozhi Ada which is spicy chicken filling stuffed in soft dough and deep fried till golden in color.
It is similar to samosa but different in shape and taste.
The chicken in the recipe can be substituted with paneer, soya or potatoes.

Ingredients

Dough:
1 ½ cups maida
1 tsp of sugar
Pinch of salt
1 tsp ghee

Stuffing:
½ cup of par boiled shredded chicken
1½ medium sized onions finely chopped and sautéed
2 green chillies and ½ inch piece of ginger finely chopped
1 bowl of coriander leaves
½ tsp of garam masala
Oil
Salt to taste
