KOLHAPURI THECHA

Ingredients

250 grams light green chillies, de-stemmed
¾ cup raw peanuts
1 cup garlic cloves
4-5 tbsps oil
Sea salt to taste
Bhakris to serve

Method

1. Break the green chillies in half and add them into a bowl.
2. Heat oil in a kadai. Add peanuts and sauté till they turn golden brown. Add garlic and sauté for 2-3 minutes or till the garlic turns golden brown.
3. Add the green chillies and sauté for 4-5 minutes. Add salt and mix well. Continue to cook for 2-3 minutes.
4. Transfer the mixture into a mortar and coarsely crush it with a pestle.
5. Transfer the thecha into a serving bowl. Serve with bhakris.
