Break the green chillies in half and add them into a bowl. 2. Heat oil in a kadai. Add peanuts and sauté till they turn golden brown. Add garlic and sauté for 2-3 minutes or till the garlic turns golden brown.3. Add the green chillies and sauté for 4-5 minutes. Add salt and mix well. Continue to cook for 2-3 minutes.4. Transfer the mixture into a mortar and coarsely crush it with a pestle.5. Transfer the thecha into a serving bowl.
