Kofta Recipe in English :

Kofta mixture ingredients:
1/2 kg Beef mince
1 small Onion (finely chopped)
tsp Red chili powder
tsp Garam masala
Salt to taste
3 tbsp Roasted chickpea powder
tsp Coriander powder
1 tsp Ginger garlic paste
2-3 Green chili
cup Coriander & Mint
1 tsp Cumin powder
1 tsp Poppy Seeds

Gravy ingredients:
cup Cooking oil
1 tsp Whole spices
1 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
cup Onion paste
cup Tomato puree
1 tsp Coriander powder
Salt to taste
tsp Turmeric
1 tbsp Red chili powder
1 cup Yogurt
cup Coriander leaves
2-3 Green chili
Water as required
Directions for kofta curry:
In a chopper add beef mince, coriander/mint, cumin powder, puppy seeds, green chilies, onion, red chili powder, garam masala, salt, roasted chickpea powder, coriander powder, ginger/garlic paste and blend well.
Apply water on hands, take a hand full of beef mixture and make balls.
In a pan add oil and fry beef mixture balls until brown.
Now take another pan add oil and whole spice, cook for a minute. Add ginger garlic paste and onion paste and cook for few minutes. Add Tomato puree and mix well. Now add salt, coriander powder, turmeric, red chili powder, mix it well then add yogurt, cook for 5-7 minutes.
Add prepared Koftas, cook for a minute then add water and let it cook for 10-12 minutes on medium low flame. Add coriander and green chilies to garnish.
Kofta curry is ready to serve
Serve: 4-5 people.
