Muthiya, a gujarati dish that tastes best with chutney and tea. It is made up of Chickpea flour, Methi (Fenugreek), Salt, Turmeric, Chili powder, and an optional bonding agent/sweetener such as sugar and oil. It is a very good staple of Gujaratis. Ingredients:1 cup Gram Flour½ cup Wheat Flour½ tsp. Red Chili Powder½ Turmeric 1 tsp. Sugar½ tsp. Ghee1 tsp. Sesame Seeds5-7 tbsp. Oil1 ½ litre Water ½ tsp. Mustard Seeds Salt to taste1 cup Shredded CabbageMethod:1. Mix the gram flour, wheat flour, turmeric, red chili powder, salt, sugar, oil, shredded cabbage and water in a large bowl to make a dough.2. Shape the dough into cylindrical rolls.3. Pour water into a steamer and put the rolls in it. Cook for 15-20 minutes at a medium flame.4. Turn off the flame and let the rolls cool down.5. Now chop the rolls into slices.6. Next, pour some oil and mustard seeds into a pan, and heat it until it crackles.7. Then add the slices into the pan and shallow fry until golden brown.8.
