Kinamatisang Isda (Red Snapper with Tomato) | Panlasang Pinoy

Kinamatisang isda is a simple Filipino fish recipe wherein the fish is cooked with onion and tomato. Kamatis is the Filipino word for tomato. This is the reason why we are using lots of ripe tomato in this recipe.

Kinamatisang isda is best eaten for lunch while still hot. You can make it spicy by adding long green peppers or even Jalapeno.

Use other fish varieties aside from red snapper. However, it recommended that you use medium to large sized fish.

This Filipino fish recipe makes use of the following ingredients:

red snapper, lost of tomatoes, onion, water, and fish sauce

The procedure are as follows:

(00:46) boil water
(00:57) add the tomato and onion. continue to boil until tender
(02:42) add the fish. cook for a few minutes
(02:46) add fish sauce.
(04:19) serve and enjoy
