A rich preparation of khoya, cashewnuts and green peasKHOYA KAJU MATARIngredients2-3 tbsps grated khoya/mawa1 cup whole cashewnuts¼ cup broken cashewnuts, soaked2 cups frozen green peas65 gms makhani bhuna masala65 gms gravy bhuna masala10-12 button mushrooms, quartered2 tbsps fresh cream½ tsp garam masala powder1 tbsp finely chopped fresh coriander leavesMethod1. Heat a non-stick pan, add both the bhuna masalas, mushrooms, khoya and mix well.2. Add whole cashewnuts and ¼ cup water and mix well.3. Drain and grind broken cashewnuts to a paste. Add this to the pan and mix.4. Add green peas and mix. Add cream and mix. Then add garam masala powder and coriander leaves and mix well. Cover and cook on medium heat till the vegetables get cooked and oil surfaces. 5.
