Khichdi Recipe | Khichuṛī Recipe | Moong Dal Khichdi | Scroll RecipeIngredient: • 3 TBSP ghee• ¼ cup cashew /kaju• 1 inch cinnamon, 5-6 black pepper, 3-4 green cardamom ,1 black cardamom, 1 star anise • 1 TSP ginger paste • 1 TSP cumin seeds • 1-2 bay leaves • 3 cup fried boiled moong dal (20% boiled)• 1 TSP turmeric powder• salt to taste• 2 TSP cumin powder• 1 TBSP ghee• 1 TBSP sugar• 1 TBSP red chilli powder• 8 cup hot water • chopped chilli• ¼ cup kismis/raisin• 1 TSP garam masalaProcess: • Heat the pan and add 3 TBSP ghee• Add ¼ cup cashew /kaju• Fry it • Keep it aside • Add cinnamon, black pepper, green cardamom, black cardamom, star anise in same pan• Add 1 TSP ginger paste • Add 1 TSP cumin seeds • Add bay leaves • Add 3 cup of soaked rice (small)• Fry it • Add 3 cup fried boiled moong dal (20% boiled)• Add 1 TSP turmeric powder• Add salt to taste• Add 2 TSP cumin powder• Mix it nicely • Add 1 TBSP ghee• Add 1 TBSP sugar• Keep stirring 8-10 mints• Add 1 TBSP red chilli powder• Add 8 cup hot water • Add chopped chilli• Cover with a lid• Cook till all the water is evaporated and the rice and lentils are completely cooked.• Add ¼ cup kismis/ raisin• Add fried cup cashew • Mix it nicely• Add 1 TSP garam masala====================================================please like & subscribe and comment what you like and what you didnt like.
