Stuffed moong dal Khasta Kachoris:
Tasty Kachoris made with spiced moong dal stuffing. Kachoris are basically deep-fried Khasta bread. Street style Delhi khasta kachori is an all-time favourite. The recipe is easy to follow and provides a step by step guide into making Delhi style kachori. Spicy and flavourful dal provides an added depth of flavour to this classical Indian dish.

Dough for Kachoris-
All-purpose flour (Maida)-3 cups or 300 grms
Ajwaian (carom seeds)-1/2 tsp
Salt-1/2 tsp
Oil-3 tbs
Warm water for kneading the dough.
Stuffing for the Kachoris-
Moong dal-1/2 cup (soak for 3 to 4 hours mix water and boil with 1/2 tsp of Haldi until it gets soft)

Tadka for stuffing-
Oil-2 tbs
Heeng (asafoetida) 1/3 tsp
Jeera(cumin seeds)-1 tsp
Dhania powder (coriander) mota kuta hua-3/4 tsp
Adark grated (ginger)-1 tsp
Black salt-1/2 tsp
Salt-1/3 tsp
Amchoor powder (mango) -1 tsp
Red chilli powder-1/2 tsp
Roasted jeera powder (cumin) -1/3 tsp
Chat masala-1/2 tsp
Besan (gram flour)-2 tsp for binding the dal mixture.
