Khajoor Shake Recipes - Dates Milkshake Recipe | Nisha Madhulika

Khajoor shake is sweet and nutritious shake recipe which keeps you energetic when you are fasting. Dates Milkshake is tummy filling and must for your navratri fasts.

Ingredients
Milk – 2 cups
Ice cubes – 1 cup
Dates – 10 to 12 (washed)
Cashews – 4
Green cardamom – 2

Directions

Getting ready:

1.Start with removing the seeds and stalk from the dates and collect the pulp in a bowl. Chop down the cashews and stone grind the green cardamom seeds.

Making:

2.Place the dates in a mixer jar along with some milk and grind them into fine paste. Then add the remaining milk, ice-cubes and crushed green cardamom in the jar and blend nicely. Khajoor shake is now done and ready.

Serving:

3. Pour this nutritious khajoor shake in the glasses and garnish them with chopped cashews and serve chilled.

Suggestions

If you don't prefer chilled dates milkshake then prepare it with milk at room temperature. You can add 1 to 2 tbsp of sugar or honey in the shake to make it more sweet.

You can strain the dates milkshake through a sieve so that there are no pieces of dates in the shake. You can garnish this shake with vanilla ice-cream or chocolate ice-cream.
