Kesar Milk Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi

Prep Time - 5-6 mins
Cooking time - 10-12 mins
Serves - 2 glass.

Ingredients Quantity
Poppy seeds (soaked in warm water) 1 tbsp
Fresh cow milk cup
Saffron 0.5 gm.
Almonds 2-4 nos.
Cashew nuts 8-10 nos.
Pistachio 4-5 nos.
Cardamom powder a pinch
Sugar 3-4 tbsp

Method:-
1. Firstly add the soaked poppy seeds in the blender jar and grind it along with the soaked water.
2. Take a kadai, add fresh cow milk and grinded poppy seeds in it and let it boil.
3. Further take mortar pestle and make powder of saffron. Transfer it in the bowl.
4. Crush almonds, cashew nuts and pistachio in the same mortar pestle. Keep it aside.
5. Keep stirring the milk and boil it for 10 minutes on medium flame. If you want thick consistency boil it for more than 10 minutes.
6. Once the milk is boiled add cardamom powder and crushed nuts. Mix it well.
7. Further add sugar and boil for 2-3 minutes until sugar melts completely.
8. Now add the prepared saffron powder in the mixture.
9. Pour it in the serving glass and garnish with some crushed nuts and saffron.
10. Your Kesar milk is ready to serve!
