Kala Chana Chaat (Street Style)
Ingredients for Imli Chutney:
Imli pulp 1 cup
Red chili flakes 1 tbsp
Sugar 1 tbsp
Salt 1/2 tsp
Mint leaves 1/4 cup
Cumin powder 1/2 tbsp
Lemon juice 1 tbsp

Ingredients for Kala Chana Chaat:
Oil 1 tbsp
Kalay Chanay (boiled) 2 cups
Onion (chopped) 1 cup
Tomatoes (chopped) 1 cup
Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
Salt 1 tsp
Red chili flakes 1/2 tbsp
Coriander seeds (crushed) 1/2 tbsp
Cumin seeds (crushed) 1/2 tbsp
Red chili powder 1 tbsp
Potatoes (boiled & cube cut) 1 cup
Tomatoes (small cubes) 1/2 cup
Onion (chopped) 1 cup
Green coriander (chopped) for garnish
Mint leaves (chopped) 1/4 cup
Green chilies (round cut) 2-3
Ingredients for Assembling:
Kala Chana Chaat
Imli chutney as required
Chaat masala as required
Lemon juice as required
Green coriander (chopped) as required

Directions for Imli Chutney Preparation:
1. In a blender add imli pulp, red chili flakes, sugar, salt, mint leaves, cumin powder, lemon juice and blend well. Your imli chutney is ready.
Directions for Kala Chana Chaat Preparation:
2. Heat oil on a pan and add onion in it, cook until translucent. Now add ginger garlic paste and cook for 1-2 minutes.
3. Now add chopped tomatoes and cook for about 2-3 minutes. Now add salt, red chili flakes, crushed coriander, crushed cumin seeds, red chili powder and mix well. Cook on medium low flame until your masala is thick in consistency.
4. Now add kalay chanay and cook on high flame for 2-3 minutes. Now add potatoes, tomatoes, onion, mint leaves, green chilies and mix well. Now add green coriander.
Directions for Assembling:
5. In a bowl add prepared kala chana chaat, imli chutney, chaat masala, lemon juice, coriander and your chaat is ready.
Preparation time: 10-15 mins
Cooking time: 25-30 mins
