Kakiage Roll - How To Make Sushi Series (Vegetarian) | Hiroyuki Terada - Diaries of a Master Sushi Chef

In this week's episode, Master Sushi Chef Hiroyuki Terada makes a special Kakiage Roll that consists of sliced vegetables and then tempura deep fried and then combined into a roll.

The secret to this tempura dish is to make sure the batter is light enough so it cooks all the way through, and to not spread the vegetables too far apart or they won't all fry together.
