For Jhal Muri
4 cups puffed rice (kurmura)
1 cup navratna chivda
3 cups boiled safed vatana (dried white peas)
2 tbsp boiled kala chana (brown chick peas)
3/4 cup boiled potato cubes
1/2 cup finely chopped tomatoes
1/2 cup finely chopped onions
1/2 cup finely chopped cucumber
3 tbsp fried peanuts
2 tbsp fresh chopped coconut
2 tsp finely chopped green chillies
3 cups finely chopped coriander (dhania)
2 tbsp jhal muri masala
black salt (sanchal) to taste
2 tbsp lemon juice
2 tbsp mustard (rai / sarson) oil

For Garnish
nylon sev
fried masala chana dal
finely chopped coriander (dhania)
papdis
Method

For jhal muri
To make jhal muri, combine all the ingredients in a large vessel and toss gently till all the ingredients are mixed well.
Garnish with nylon sev, fried masala chana dal, coriander and papdi.
Serve jhal muri immediately.

tips to make jhal muri
You can also add sweet chutney in jhal muri.
Make sure to serve it immediately otherwise it will become soggy.
You can also add moong sprouts in the bhel.
