JAMUN POPSICLESIngredients15-20 java plums (jamuns), deseeded and roughly chopped cup sugar tsp roasted cumin powder1 tsp black salt tsp chaat masala lemonMethod1. Heat cup water and sugar in a non-stick pan and cook till sugar melts. Take the pan off the heat and allow to cool completely.2. Transfer the jamuns in a blender jar. Add roasted cumin powder, black salt, chaat masala and blend to a fine paste.3. Strain the mixture through a fine strainer into a large bowl. Add cooled sugar syrup and mix well. Squeeze the juice of lemon directly into it and mix well.4. Transfer the mixture into popsicle moulds and close the lid. Place it in the freezer for 6-8 hours.5. De-mould and serve.JAMUN SHOTSIngredients250 grams java plums (jamun), deseededCrushed ice as requiredA handful mint leavesBlack salt to taste cup sugar1 lemon wedgeSalt for rimmingMethod1. In a blender jar, add java plums flesh, crushed ice, mint leaves, black salt and sugar. Blend to a fine mixture.2. Rim the shot glasses with lemon, take salt on a plate and dip the rims of the glasses in it and set aside.3.
