Dal Pakwan is an authentic Sindhi dish belonging to the Indian cuisine. Ideally pakwans are served separately from dal; while dal is served with green and tamarind chutney spread over it to provide a sweet & spicy taste. Simply Jain presents the same authentic dish, however, served in a new style and gets a modern twist.

Ingredients required for Dal:
- 1/2 cup Chana Dal
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder
- 1/4 tsp Salt

Ingredients required for Cooked Dal:
- 2 tbsp Oil
- 1/2 tsp Cumin Seeds
- 1/2 tsp Hing
- 2 Green chillies
- 2 tbsp Bell Peppers
- 1/2 cup Tomato Puree
- 1/2 tbsp Sugar
- 1/2 tsp Garam Masala
- Salt to taste
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder
- 1 tbsp Red Chilli Powder
- Cooked Dal
- Coriander leaves

Ingredients required for Pakwan:
- 1 cup Flour
- 1/2 tsp Ajwain
- 1/2 tbsp Ghee
- Salt to taste
- Water as required
- Cookie Cutter
- Ghee for frying

- Green chutney
- Tamarind chutney

- Pomegranate
