A nutritious and comforting bowl of this soup is going to be a favourite to both the adults and the young ones alike.

JAIN BROCCOLI AND ALMOND SOUP

Ingredients

1 small broccoli, cut into or separate small florets
10-12 almonds blanch and peeled
2 tbsps olive oil
1-2 green chillies, chopped
Pinch of crushed black peppercorn
½ tbsp flexes seeds powder
Salt to taste
2 tbsps fresh cream
A pinch of Tata Sampan Garam Masala Powder
4-5 blanch broccoli florets for garnish
5-6 blanch almond slivers

Method
1. Heat olive oil in a non-stick deep pan, add green chillies, almonds, broccoli and sauté for 2-3 minutes on a medium heat. Add 2 cups of water, mix and bring to a boil or cook for 4-5 minutes.
2. Switch off the heat and blend mixture into a smooth paste with the help of hand blender.
3. Switch on the heat, add crushed black peppercorns, and flex seeds powder, salt and mix. Add butter, mix and bring it to a boil.
4. Add fresh cream and mix well. Add pinch of Tata Sampan Garam Masala Powder and mix.
5. Serve hot with bread stick and garnish with broccoli and almond slivers.
