I believe the traditional Schnitzel originated in Austria. also know in France as Escalope. A Schnitzel is a piece of meat that's pounded thin, dipped in eggwash, crumbed and fried. This version is a little different having a coating that also includes cheese and a mix of Italian herbs. It's easy to make, fast to prepare and tastes awesome!
