Ishinomaki for HungryGoWhere

Ishinomaki embodies a grill and sake dining experience at their new outlet along Tras Street. Diners can open doors to a cosy boat cabin, furnished with raw wood and metal finishing.

The restaurant prides itself in using fresh seafood air-flown several times a week from the Port of Fukuoka, Sapporo and Toyosu (previously Tsukiji) Fish Market, guaranteeing the freshness of the ingredients used in their meals. Be surprised at every trip down from the Black Box option as it contains surprise seafood picks from the fishery port itself.

Chef-owner of Ishinomaki has made his appearance in the F&B scene for more than 35 years and Ishinomaki is a way for him to remember the land that saw scallop farms of over 14 generations wiped out after a tsunami.

Go on in and enjoy grill and sake which are inspired by the exquisite Japanese Ryori Cuisine. Like the Haiku poem, Ishinomaki strives to reflect the seasonality by taking advantage of the fruit of the mountains or the bounty of the sea. Diners could also look forward to an extensive range of sake that is procured by the owners on their yearly trips to Japan.

While waiting for their palette delights, Diners can enjoy a glass of beer or sake and appreciate the essence of a rustic Japanese fishing village.
