We're here at LA's The Whisper Lounge, frequented by stars like Rihanna and Jennifer Lawrence, to learn how to shake up this intriguing St. Paddy's Day drink with mixologist Lawrence Long.O'Boyle's WagerFrom Lawrence Long, The Whisper LoungeINGREDIENTSIce1 1/2 ounces single pot still Irish whiskey, like Tullamore Dew1 1/4 ounces Irish red ale, like Murphy's1/4 ounce clover honey syrup (equal parts clover honey and boiling water)Orange peelGrated nutmeg, for garnishDIRECTIONSFill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add whiskey, ale, and honey syrup. Close and shake vigorously.Strain into a chilled, large coup glass. Take an orange peel and express the oil over the cocktail. Run around the edge of the glass and discard.
