Ingredients:
Full cream milk- 1 cup (250 grams)
Hung curd- 1 cup (250 grams)
Condensed Milk- 1 cup (250 grams)
Cornflour- 2 tbsp
Nutmeg- less than ¼ tsp
Green Cardamoms- ¼ Tsp
Pistachios- 6 to 7 (slices)
Saffron- 6 to 7 (strands) (optional)

How to make kharvas:
For hung curd-
1- Spread a cotton cloth on a bowl, place it over a bowl, pour 2 cups of curd on it and squeeze to remove the water from the curd.
2- The leftover thick curd on the cloth is called hung curd.

For Kharvas-
1- Blend hung curd and cornflour in a mixer.
2- Add full cream milk, condensed milk and blend them to make a smooth mixture. Blend until lumps disappear.
3- Take a vessel which is plain from the bottom and little high too.
4- Add mixture in the vessel and spread green cardamoms powder, grated nutmegs over it.
5- Garnish with sliced pistachios and saffron strands.
6- Preheat 2 cups of water in a pressure cooker until steam appears.
7- Place a stand in a cooker and place the vessel of the mixture on it.
8- Do not put the whistle over the pressure cooker and close the lid.
9- Cook the kharvas on the medium-high or medium flame for 30 minutes.
10- Check it after the 30 minutes by inserting the knife in it.
11- If the knife is clear then the kharvas is cooked, keep it aside to cook.
12- Cool it beneath the fan until it reaches its normal temperature.
13- Later on, keep it in the refrigerator to set for an hour and serve it.
14- Cut it into the pieces and separate from the corners.

Suggestions-
1- You can also use the mawa or the sugar powder instead of the condensed milk.
2- If you are adding the mawa, take 1/2 cup of mawa and 1/2 cup of the sugar powder
3- If you are adding the milk powder then take 1/2 cup of sugar powder and milk powder.

Serving:
Serve it into the pieces.
