Paternoster's Wolfgat has won World Restaurant of the Year and best Off-Map Destination at the inaugural World Restaurant Awards, held on 18 February 2019 in Paris. Chef Kobus van der Merwe is the reigning Eat Out S.Pellegrino & Acqua Panna Chef of the Year.
