Indo-Chinese Pan Roasted Chicken | Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana

Indo chinese food is the best kind of comfort food - this recipe of chicken legs marinated in schezwan sauce is no different.

INDO-CHINESE PAN ROASTED CHICKEN - (Serves - 4)

Ingredients

750 grams chicken on bones, cut into pieces
2 tablespoons yogurt
1 tablespoon ginger-garlic-green chilli paste
1 tablespoon schezwan sauce
ΒΌ teaspoon turmeric powder
2 teaspoons red chilli powder
Salt to taste
Oil for shallow-frying

Method

1. Take chicken in a bowl. Add yogurt, ginger-garlic-green chilli paste, schezwan sauce, turmeric powder, chilli powder and salt, mix and set aside to marinate for 15-20 minutes.
2. Heat some oil in a non-stick pan. Place marinated chicken pieces and shallow-fry from all sides for 1-2 minutes. Cover and cook on medium heat till chicken is golden and fully done.
