Indian Style Chicken Wings | Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana

Chicken wings marinated with indian spices coated in egg batter and refined flour, deep fried to perfection.

INDIAN STYLE CHICKEN WINGS

Ingredients

10-12 chicken wings
Oil for deep-frying
2 tablespoons hung yogurt
1 teaspoon garam masala powder
1 teaspoon red chilli powder
¼ teaspoon turmeric powder
1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
Salt to taste
Chaat masala for sprinkling

Method

1. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai.
2. Mix hung yogurt, garam masala powder, red chilli powder, turmeric powder and ginger-garlic paste in a bowl.
3. Add chicken wings and salt and mix well. Refrigerate for an hour.
4. Break egg and add to the marinated chicken alongwith refined flour and cornflour and mix well.
5. Deep-fry the prepared chicken wings in hot oil till crisp and brown. Drain on absorbent paper. Sprinkle chaat masala.
6. Serve hot.
