Method:
Heat 3 Tbsp oil in the pressure cooker
Add 1/4 tsp fennel seeds, 3 cloves, 3 cardamom, and 1 cinnamon stick and let them sizzle for a few seconds
Add 1 big chopped onion and saut until golden brown
Add 1 Tbsp ginger and garlic paste and saut for a minute
Add 2 small chopped tomatoes, 2 tsp chili powder, 2 tsp coriander powder, 1/2 tsp turmeric powder, and 1 tsp garam masala and cook until the tomatoes are soft
Add 1/4 cup curd or yogurt and 1 tsp almond or cashew powder and mix well
Add 750 grams chicken and salt to taste and mix well
Add 1 cup water and 4 green chilies
Close the pressure cooker lid and cook on high pressure for 10-12 minutes
Release the pressure naturally and open the lid
Add 1/2 tsp pepper powder and chopped coriander leaves
Give it a good mix and your delicious pressure cooker chicken gravy is ready to serve!
