Imli Aloo Bukhara Sharbat

Ingredients for Tamarind Pulp:
Tamarind 800 g
Water 1 liter

Ingredients for Plum Pulp:
Dried plum 600 g
Water 3-4 cups

Ingredients for soaked chia seeds:
Chia seeds 2 tbsp
Water 2 cups

Ingredients for Imli Aloo Bukhara Sharbat:
Tamarind Pulp
Plum pulp
Sugar 2 cups
Water 2 cups
Black salt 1 tbsp
Soaked chia seeds
Ice cubes as required

Directions for Tamarind Pulp Preparation:
1. In a pot heat water and bring it to a boil. Add tamarind and cook for 10-15 mins. Let it cool at room temperature.
2. Transfer it to a bowl and remove the seeds. Now strain the pulp into another bowl. Add hot water while straining to strain it well. Set aside.
Directions for Plum Pulp Preparation:

Directions for Soaked Chia Seeds Preparation:
5. In a bowl add chia seeds, water and soak for 10-15 mins. Set aside.
Directions for Imli Aloo Bukhara Preparation:
6. In a pot heat water and sugar. Cook until sugar dissolves.
7. Add tamarind pulp, plum pulp, black salt and cook for 10-15 mins on low flame.
8. Let it cool at room temperature. Transfer it to an airtight bottle. Can be stored for 2-3 months at room temperature.
9. In a glass add water, imli aloo Bukhara sharbat, chia seeds, ice-cubes and mix it well. Your Imli Aloo Bukhara Sharbat is ready. Serve and enjoy.
