Te Tai Tokerau Northland is New Zealands most underrated food region. This subtropical region which spans the top of Aotearoa is brimming with iconic restaurants, top producers and unmissable eats. This 5 part series will canvas the whole of Te Tai Tokerau Northland and share some of our favourite, must eat spots for you to visit when you do your own Northland roadie.

This Northland food itinerary explores the west coast- we hit up Kohukohu, Rawene, Dargaville and travel through the Waipoua forest. We visit a number of producers, restaurants and cafes that are included in this itinerary but there are a whole load more we didnt get a chance to include.
