How to Make Spiced Candied Pecans | Hungry AF | Tastemade

So easy it's nuts. Make batches of these spiced candied pecans for gifts and holiday parties!

INGREDIENTS

3 cups unsalted pecan halves
1 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
1 large egg white
⅓ cup granulated sugar
⅓ cup packed brown sugar
2 tsp ground cinnamon
¼ tsp ground cardamon
½ tsp kosher salt
pinch of ground nutmeg

RECIPE

Preheat oven to 325°F. In a bowl, whisk together egg white, sugars, spices, and salt. Add pecans and mix until the nuts are fully coated.

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Brush the surface with melted butter. Spread the pecan mixture in an even layer. Bake for about 30-35 minutes, stirring the pecans every 10 minutes.

Remove from oven and allow to cool. Once the sugar coating is hardened, serve or store in a sealed container.
