#SujanFunKitchen is here with #RibbonPakoda or #OlaPakoda! #Diwali is the ideal occasion to try it out!This is my Aunty's recipe - she's a wizard in making Ribbon Pakoda!How to make Ribbon Pakoda at homeIngredients:Besan/gram flour - 3 cupsRice flour (store bought) - 1 ½ cupsKashmiri Chilli powder - 1 tspAsafoetida - ¼ tspSalt to tasteButter at room temperature - few tspsOil to deep fryMethod:Add besan, rice flour, kashmiri chilli powder, asafoetida and salt to bowl and toss well - the ready mix for the Ribbon Pakoda is readyNow, grease the Tengozhal press/murukku press and add the Ribbon Pakoda attachmentMeanwhile heat oil for frying Now, scoop some ready mix and blend some butter all over to resemble bread crumbsThen, sprinkle water little by little and make a dough that is not very soft or not very hardTest the oil - when you add a small bit of dough into the oil, it should come up instantlyFill the press with the dough and squeeze out ribbons into the hot oil Do not disturb while the Ribbon Pakoda is sizzlingOnce the sizzling sound subsides a bit, turn around the Ribbon PakodaAdjust the flame so that the oil is not too hot now - maintain the heat by adjusting, every now and thenRemember to wait for the oil to heat again once a batch is readyEnjoy the crunchy goodness of Ribbon Pakodas this Diwali
