They're both cheap AF and can be upgraded into a real meal with the help of one simple addition — an egg.Egg on PancakesINGREDIENTS:1 cup pancake mix1/2 to 3/4 cup water3 tablespoons butter, divided1 eggPinch of saltSTEPS:1.) In a bowl, combine pancake mix and water.2.) Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat, and add 2 tablespoons butter.3.) Spoon pancake mix into pan and cook pancakes. Repeat with remaining batter, and stack pancakes on a plate.4.) In the same pan, melt 1 tablespoon butter.5.) Crack the egg into the pan, sprinkle with salt and cook until done.6.) Serve egg on top of pancakes.Egg in RiceINGREDIENTS:2 tablespoons oil1/2 carrot, dicedPinch salt2 scallions, chopped1 clove garlic, minced1 cup leftover rice1 egg2 soy sauce packets1 Sriracha packetSTEPS:1.) Heat oil in medium skillet.2.) Add carrots and cook for a few minutes, then add a pinch of salt.3.) Add scallions and garlic. Saute for a few minutes to soften.4.) Stir in leftover cooked rice.5.) Crack an egg over vegetables and rice, and cook, stirring frequently.6.) Squeeze soy sauce and hot sauce over fried rice.Ramen With Egg & VeggiesINGREDIENTS:1 packet ramen1 cup baby spinach1 egg2 scallions, sliced1/2 carrot, julienned1/4 bell pepper, sliced1 soy sauce packet1 Sriracha packetSTEPS:1.) Cook ramen according to package, and stir in spinach to wilt.2.) Add egg to a pot of boiling water, and cook 4 to 6 minutes, until white is set and yolk is runny. Chill and peel.3.) Pour ramen into a bowl. Top with scallions, carrots and pepper.4.) Slice egg in half and place on top.5.)
