Healthy & Tasty Dhokla !!!

Ragi Rava Dhokla

Ingredients

• 1 cup Ragi Flour (Finger Millet)
• 1 cup Sooji (Rava)
• 1 cup Yogurt
• 1 tsp Fruit Salt
• 1 tsp Mustard seeds
• 1 tsp Sesame seeds
• Pinch of Asafetida (Hing)
• 2 tsp Oil
• Handful of Curry leaves
• 2 tbs Grated Coconut
• Handful of Coriander leaves, finely chopped
• Salt to taste

Method

1. Mix the Ragi flour, Rava, Yogurt and a salt to taste in a bowl. Prepare a thick batter by adding water little by little. Rest the batter for 5 minutes. Mix in the Fruit salt and Salt stir well.
2. Prepare a steamer filled with water and grease the dhokla plates. Pour the prepared batter into the greased plates.
3. Steam on high heat for about 10-12 minutes until a tester inserted in the center comes out clean.
4. Remove the Ragi Dhokla from the steamer and keep aside, to cool.
5. Heat oil in a pan; add mustard seeds, sesame seeds, hing and curry leaves and cook till the seeds crackle. Pour the seasoning over the dhokla's and cut them into squares or diamonds. Garnish with Coriander and grated Coconut.
6. Serve the Ragi Rava Dhokla with Green Chutney.
