How to make Mysore Pak in simple steps | Soft Mysore Pak Recipe | Ghee Mysore Pak | Ananya Banerjee

Ingredients :
Besan / Gram Flour - 1 Cup
Sugar - 1 Cup
Water - 1/4 Cup
Ghee (melted) - 1 Cup
Saffron to garnish

Method :
Dry roast 1 cup besan on low flame for 10 minutes. Roast until it's golden-brown (aromatic).
Add 1/2 cup ghee and mix well. Whisk to make sure there are no lumps.
In a pan, take 1 cup sugar and add 1/4 cup water.
Dissolve sugar and cook till the syrup reaches 1 string consistency.
Add prepared besan mixture & mix well. Add 2 tbsp of ghee and give it a good mix. Keep stirring until it becomes one mass.
Transfer this mixture to a tray lined with butter paper. Rest for 30 minutes. Carefully unmold the mysore pak without breaking. Cut into desired size and shape once the mysore pak is set well.
