Dum Biryani can easily be prepared at home. Let me show you how to make Mushroom Dum Biryani at home with ingredients found in your kitchen. It tastes so delicious. Given below is the Mushroom Dum Biryani recipe.

Ingredients:
3 cups Mushrooms
2 cups Rice (2 each of whole spices)
2 Cardamom pods
2 sliced Onions
3 chopped Green Chillies
1 tbsp Red Chilli powder
1 tbsp Biryani Masala (Video already uploaded)
Salt to taste
4 tsp Ghee
2 chopped Potatoes
2 Bay leaves
1 tsp Cumin
2 Cloves
1 cup Barista (fried Onions)
1 chopped Tomato
1/4 cup Curd
1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
3 tbsp Oil
2 tsp Ginger Garlic paste
Few chopped Coriander leaves
Few chopped Mint leaves
Food Colour

Method:
-- In a Pot, boil Water.
-- Put in Oil, Salt and whole Spices.
-- Put in soaked Rice and cook till 80% done.
-- Drain and keep aside to cool.
-- In a pan heat Oil.
-- Put in chopped Potatoes, fry and keep aside.
-- Put in chopped Capsicum and Mushrooms.
-- Mushooms will release a lot of water.
-- Once done, remove and keep aside.
-- Saute Cumin, Bay leaves, Cardamom pods, Cloves and Onions.
-- Fry till golden brown.
-- Add Ginger Garlic paste and chopped Green Chillies and saute.
-- Add Tomatoes and Salt and saute till Tomatoes are soft.
-- Add Red Chilli powder, Turmeric powder and Biryani Masala and saute.
-- Add Curd and mix well.
-- Add Lime juice, Mint and Coriander leaves.
-- Add Mushrooms, Capsicum and Potatoes and simmer.
-- Layer the Biryani in a separate Pot as shown.
-- Cover with Foil, put lid and cook for 20-25 minutes on low flame.
-- Serve hot Mushroom Biryani with Raita.
