Ingredients:
1. Ghee (clarified butter) - to fry + 4 to 5 tbsp
2. Onion - 1 small + 4 medium
3. Green chillies - 5
4. Cashew nut - 1 cup whole cashew nuts split into halves
5. Coriander leaves - 1 handful
6. Bay leaves - 2
7. Cinnamon - 1
8. Cardamom - 3
9. Cloves - 3
10. Star anise - 1
11. Ginger garlic paste - 3 tsp
12. Coconut milk, diluted with water - 3 cups
13. Water - 1.5 cups
14. Basmati rice - 3 cups, soaked for 30 min and washed
15. Salt - to taste
