How to make Jalebi at home | Rava Jalebi recipe / Rava sweet recipes | Indian Mom's Kitchen

Let me show how to make Jalebi at home and that too just like the Jalebis you buy from the Sweetshop. Here is how you can prepare everybody's all-time favourite crispy Jalebis at home without fermentation. This Rava Jalebi recipe hardly takes any time and can be prepared very quickly.

Ingredients:
1 cup Rava
1/2 cup Maida
1/2 cup whisked Curd
1 cup Water
11/2 cup Sugar plus 1 cup Water
1/4 tsp Orange Food Colour
1/2 tsp Cardamom powder
1 tbsp Lemon juice
1/2 tsp Baking powder
Oil for deep frying

Method: In a bowl combine the Rava, Maida, Orange Food colour, whisked Curd plus one cup water to make a smooth thick batter. Cover and keep aside for 15 minutes.
Next, make Sugar syrup of sticky consistency using Sugar and 1 cup water. Add cardamom powder and Lime juice and keep aside.
Add baking powder to the batter and mix well. Heat Oil in a pan for deep frying. Fill the batter into plastic cones and shape as Jalebis into the Oil and fry until crisp. Transfer directly into the sugar syrup and let it remain for 30 minutes. If needed soak for a longer time. Crispy Jalebis are ready. Serve garnished with chopped Pistachios.
