How to make ★Fluffy Japanese Chocolate Cake★The Best Chocolate Cake in Japan!(EP162) | Kitchen Princess Bamboo

Today, I’m going to be making Fluffy Japanese Chocolate Cake.

This cake is one of the most famous chocolate cake in Japan. You can find it at some department store.

Both cocoa sponge and chocolate whipping cream are fluffy and airy, melt in your mouth right away. The aroma from the rum syrup stay a long way. When I first eat this cake, I was so impressed by its perfect balance. I can't forget the moment.

I can’t access to the cake shop around my area, and they don’t sell their cake on the internet, so if I want to eat it, I have to make it by myself.

It's a little bit early for the Valentine’s Day, but how about making this for your loved one?

・Cocoa sponge sheet
2 large eggs
80 g sugar
50 g cake flour
3 g cocoa powder (1 teaspoon)
20 g butter
20 g milk

・Roasted walnut
・rum syrup
1 tbs simple syrup
1 tbs dark rum

・Chocolate whipping cream
1 cup (240ml) heavy cream 40% of milk fat
70g semi-sweet chocolate
