Bombil Fry/Bombay Duck Fry(Fish) is crispy, spicy, tangy and tempting Maharashtrian recipe. Try this popular starter recipe at home with Roopa's simple to cook recipe.Ingredients:4 Bombils (Bombay Duck)Salt to tasteGinger Garlic Green Chilli Paste1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder1 cup Cornflour1/2 cup Rice flourOil for FryingMethod:Slice and flatten the Bombil and then de-bone it. Chop it into cube sizes.Take out the moisture from the fish by patting it dry with a tissurSeason the fish with turmeric powder, salt, ginger garlic green chilli paste. Apply it well and keep the fish aside for marination.Heat oil in a pan for deep frying.In a plate, add some rice flour and corn flour and mix it well.Take pieces of the bombil dust it with the flour mixture and put it in the oil for frying.Use the same method for the rest of the pieces.Once it turns golden brown take it out of the oil and dab the excess oil with a tissue.Serve it with lemon and green chutney.Enjoy!Love our recipes?
