How to make BAMBOO SHOOT RICE | Easy to make in microwave oven | Japanese Recipe | Kitchen Princess Bamboo

Today I'm going to show you how to cook BAMBOO SHOOT RICE.
I used sticky rice; it is called "Okowa" in Japanese.
But you can use plain rice, too.

Sticky Rice makes a nice contrast to the crisp bamboo shoot texture.

Bamboo shoot is a seasonal delicacy in Japan.

A freshly boiled bamboo shoot would be nice, but you can use canned or vacuum-sealed one.
It's only available At this time of the year, just the same as Sakura.

4 servings
2 cups (360ml) sticky rice ※or plain rice
200g bamboo shoot
50g Aburaage
1 cup (180ml) Dashi
※250ml for plain rice
1 tbs soy sauce (preferably light soy sauce)
1 tbs Sake
1 tbs Mirin

Japanese Sansho pepper leaves for garnishing
