These personalized (letter, number, shapes, etc) cakes are little works of art. It doesn’t matter if you suck at decorating like I do lol just have fun with it and let your imagination goooooo!There really isn’t a wrong way to make these gorgeous, layered tart cakes. Some folks use cakes, wafers, cookies and even crackers for the layers. I’m using a tweaked version of my Southern tea cake for this recipe and a simple cheesecake filling. They pair up well together with the fresh fruit toppings.
