HOW TO DRY YOUR OWN OREGANO
Drying your own herbs will give you stronger flavours and save you money.
Oregano is a herb from the mint family, it prefers growing in warmer temperatures. It's an important cooking herb used for its strong pleasing flavours. It's been a staple herb in Italy and now has made its way into most food pantries across the world. It keeps well and can be bought as a dry herb but not comparable to the one you dry yourself. It's well worth the effort if you have room to grow your own. The same process is applicable for most herbs such as rosemary, marjoram, thyme even chives.
