How to cook Sarawak Kolo Mee (Charsiu Dry Noodle) 哥罗面 / 叉烧干捞面 *4K *EP5 | Emilee's Kitchen 愛米丽厨房

Sarawak Kolo Mee is a a very popular food in Kuching, capital of Sarawak (Borneo Island). Local people enjoys this yummy noodle for breakfast, lunch, dinner and even supper! The pork lard and shallot oil used make it smell so good and mouth watering. A brother version of this noodle, also called "Kampua Mee" 干盘面 is more common in Sibu, a neighboring town of FooChow 福州 heritage

Ingredients:
1tbs Pork lard
1tbs Shallot oil
1tbs soy sauce
1tsp salt
Pinch of white pepper
chilli pickles
Char siu pork
Fish ball (optional)
Vege (any types of leafy vege you like)
Pork Mince (marinate with 1tbs soy sauce, 1tsp salt and a pinch of white pepper)

Chilli Pickles: (marinated for 4 hours)
2tbs white vinegar
1 red chilli
1tbs sugar
1tsp salt
