Made with authentic Indian Spices, this south Indian delicacy comes straight from Preetha's list of favourites as it was bestowed upon by her mother.

For paste-

Fresh red chillies- 5 to 6
Khopra/dried coconut- ½ cup
Coriander seeds- 2 tbsp
Raw rice- 1 ½ tsp

Other ingredients-
Oil- 1 ½ tbsp
Mustard seeds- 1 tsp
Methi seeds- ¼ tsp
Curry leaves
Haldi- pinch
Vaal- ½ cup
Tamarind- Gooseberry sized, soaked in water
Salt
Jaggery- 1 ½ tbsp
